How do I dance in a club?

I am a horrible dancer, and it's about time I fixed that. I'm an athletic guy, but I hate club music, so I never really got into it.

I'd like to take lessons, but are dance lessons even offered for club dancing?

If not, what do you suggest I take? Salsa? I wouldn't normally go to a salsa club, but if it was something I could alter a little and use some basic dance moves in bars then that could work for me.

Any thoughts?
