Default what is the best thank you present to buy one of my groomsen?

I want to buy him something that he can keep and can earn some sentimental value with. He has a1:1 degree in English Literature from Exeter university and is incredibly talented writer and artist.
Shamefuly I know nothing of these so please help!!!

Cheers
A pocket watch is a nice idea however I need to keep it under £20. I know its not much, but I figure sentimental value is greater than currency value...
